Waiver/release: I know that running/walking a road race or participating in an organized event, regardless of distance, includes an element of risk. I should not enter this run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risk associated with running in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, including high humidity, traffic and road conditions, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of acceptance of my entry, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge the city of Shoreline, Shoreline School District, Shorecrest Booster volunteers and any and all other sponsors, suppler, agency, independent contractors, employees and any other personnel in any way assisting or connected with this event from any and all claims of liability of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part other persons or parties named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photos, motion pictures, recordings and all other records of this event. PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN IF PARTICIPANT IS UNDER 18. Insufficient information will result in a returned entry.
